Returns & Shipping?
Most items usually ship out within 1-3 business days via First Class or Priority USPS mail, however due to covid currently this time could be delayed, but we try our best to avoid this. Rootsey is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged packages once they leave our shipping station. We provide free shipping on all orders over $20 and orders under $20 will be a flat $2.99.
Not happy? That makes us sad, let’s make it right, no questions asked - just ship back your item within 5 days of your delivery date, and we will gladly give you a full credit towards another purchase or exchange minus all shipping costs. We do not refund shipping charges. Return mail costs are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns so please be sure your items are shipped via insured and tracked shipping.
How do I find my undertone?
Try looking at the veins on your inner wrist, you may be able to use their color to identify your undertone. Blue or purple veins indicate a cooler undertone, while greener veins indicate a warmer undertone. If your veins look both green and blue you most likely have a neutral undertone.
What if I order the wrong shade, can it be exchanged?
We understand ordering cosmetics online can be difficult, which is why we are happy to offer an exchange for your item of equal value. Please just fill out our contact form and upon approval, ship your product back within 5 days of your delivery date. It’s just that easy!
How will my order come packed?
All our products are first placed within a cotton sachet bag & then snuggly placed in one of our packages surrounded by paper-fill packing for safe transit. Our smaller purchases are placed in one of our padded envelopes, our larger purchases within our cardboard giftboxes.
Are Rootsey products cruelty-free?
Yes! All Rootsey products are 100% cruelty-free and no animal testing.
Do Rootsey foundations have SPF?
Our foundations contain zinc-oxide, which offers a small amount of natural sun-protection, however they should not replace your regular sun protection. We strongly recommend you pairing them with another form of sun-protection.
Do your products contain any nuts?
Yes, we use Shea Butter & Coconut in many of our products. Also, our products are not made in a nut-free facility so we cannot guarantee any other contamination.
Where does Rootsey ship to?
At present, we ship within the entire United States.
Are your products organic?
Some are and some are not, but all of our products are all-natural! Please review each product description.
Are your products preserved?
Yes! Any product containing water as an ingredient has been naturally preserved with a gentle formulation that can be found on the back of each ingredient list.
